Who we are
Roxio is a UK insulation and construction business. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us about anything on this page at info@roxio.uk.
What we collect
When you use our quote request form, we collect:
- your name, phone number and email address
- the postcode of the job
- the type of service you need and your message about the job
To stop spam, our server also keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a short time to limit how many requests can be sent per hour. It is deleted automatically within about two hours and is not stored with your request.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We do not use analytics or tracking on this site. See our cookie policy for details, including how Google Fonts works.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your request, arrange a survey if needed, and prepare a quote. Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis is:
- Steps before a contract: you have asked us for a quote, and we need your details to give you one.
- Legitimate interests: replying to enquiries people send us.
We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.
Who handles it for us
Form submissions are emailed to our mailbox, info@roxio.uk, and a backup copy is kept on our web server. Both our website hosting and our email are provided by Hostinger, which processes this data on our behalf and only under our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests only as long as we need them, and for no more than 12 months, unless you become a customer. If you do, we keep the records we need to carry out the work and run our business properly.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to us using your information
To use any of these rights, email info@roxio.uk. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this notice when our full new website launches, or sooner if how we handle your information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
